Installation and Common Problem-solving Methods of Pipeline Pumps
Installation method:
Preparation stage: Check whether the pump body is damaged during transportation and whether the fasteners are loose. Determine the installation location and ensure that the size, installation location, and inlet and outlet elevations of the foundation meet the design requirements of the drawings.
Install the pump body: hoist the pipeline pump onto the prepared foundation, put on the anchor bolts and nuts, use shims to level it, and then pour concrete to fix it.
Configure the inlet and outlet pipes: The pipeline installation should reduce the fluid resistance as much as possible, and add a filter and a check valve to the inlet pipe to prevent impurities from entering the pump cavity.
Wiring and debugging: Connect the wires correctly according to the nameplate requirements and install an overload protection device. Install a pressure gauge to observe the operating conditions of the pump.
Common problems and solutions:
The air is not emptied before starting: extend the water filling time, increase the water filling amount, check whether the water inlet pipe is leaking, and whether the bottom valve is rusted.
The head exceeds the rated value: reduce the installation height, shorten the length of the water suction pipeline, and increase the diameter of the water suction pipeline.
Impeller reversal: adjust the motor wiring phase sequence or the internal combustion engine belt drive direction to change the impeller direction.
The water inlet pipe is leaking or blocked: check and tighten the interface flange, replace the gasket; clean the blockage of the water inlet and impeller.
The water suction pipe is not immersed enough: increase the length of the centrifugal pump water suction pipe to ensure that the water suction port is immersed enough below the water surface.
The above information is based on the installation specifications of pipeline pumps and common troubleshooting experience. In actual operation, it should be adjusted according to specific circumstances.
