Installation tips for drainage pumps
The installation skills of the drainage pump have an important impact on its working efficiency and service life. By mastering the correct installation skills and doing a good job of pre-installation preparation, the efficient operation and extended service life of the drainage pump can be ensured. Therefore, the installer should constantly learn and master the installation skills of the drainage pump to improve the installation quality.
1. Preparation before installation
Before installing the drainage pump, you must first make adequate preparations. This includes checking whether the pump body and parts are intact, selecting suitable inlet and outlet pipes and power cords, and cutting off their power. At the same time, clean the installation ground, remove debris, and ensure that the installation ground is flat.
2. Installation steps and skills
1) Determine the installation location: The choice of installation location should take into account the position relationship between the drain port and the water inlet and the drainage pump, and ensure that the drainage pump is below the water source to reduce the resistance of the water inlet pipeline. At the same time, ensure that the distance between the drainage pump and the wall and other obstacles is not less than half the length of the body, which is convenient for installation and maintenance.
2) Connect the pipeline: Connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the suction port and the outlet of the pump body with gate valves, and tighten each interface with a wrench to ensure that the pipeline connection is tight and leak-free. During the connection process, pay attention to the bending radius and length of the pipe to avoid excessive or too small pipes affecting the water flow.
3) Power wiring: Select a suitable power plug according to the cross-section of the power wire and connect the power cord to the power plug. Then insert the power plug into the power socket and fix it. During the wiring process, ensure that the power plug and the socket are in firm contact and the power wiring is correct and reliable.
4) Debugging and inspection: After the installation is completed, necessary debugging and inspection work must be carried out. First, turn on the power and rotate the blades according to the instructions to observe the operation of the drainage pump; secondly, check whether there is leakage at the connection between the pump body and the pipe; finally, check whether the performance parameters of the drainage pump meet the requirements.
