How to clean and maintain stainless steel centrifugal pumps
The material of stainless steel centrifugal pump is generally 304 stainless steel, and stainless steel is usually the abbreviation of stainless acid-resistant steel. After long-term use, stainless steel centrifugal pump needs to be cleaned and maintained when the pump is stopped.
Cleaning of stainless steel centrifugal pump
Different cleaning agents and cleaning methods need to be used according to different needs to ensure the cleaning quality of stainless steel pumps.
To avoid corrosion, no degree of corrosion is allowed for more precise parts. Stainless steel centrifugal pumps need to be parked for a period of time after cleaning. The anti-rust ability of the cleaning fluid should be considered or other anti-rust measures should be used. The safe operation of the centrifugal pump needs to be maintained to avoid poisoning, fire and environmental pollution.
1. For parts that are not assembled temporarily, protective oil should be added after cleaning.
2. Clean the oil and rust on the joint surface of the pump casing.
3. Clean the bushing and bearing components of the bearing, remove the oil, and then clean the oil ring and oil gauge. Gasoline should be used to clean the ball bearing.
4. Clean the water seal pipe and check whether it is unobstructed.
5. Scrape off the rust and scale accumulated on the surface of the impeller, seal ring, and bearing, and then blow them clean with water or compressed air.
Maintenance of stainless steel centrifugal pump after cleaning
1. The pump body and pump seat should be free of grease, dirt and dust. No garbage or items should be stored under the pump seat, let alone water accumulation.
2. There is liquid leakage at the seal of the pump that pumps toxic and corrosive liquids and is easy to crystallize. The base can be rinsed with clean water, and other places can be cleaned with a dry cloth.
3. The motor part needs to be cleaned with a cloth, and the motor nameplate and motor direction should be cleaned. Be sure to pay attention to safety. Do not clean the motor directly with water.
4. The running stainless steel centrifugal pump should not be cleaned with gloves, and the rotating part should not be scrubbed with too many cotton strips.
5. It is forbidden to use paint to clean stainless steel centrifugal pumps privately.
6. Stainless steel centrifugal pumps, oil cups, oil rings, pressure gauges, etc. should be cleaned regularly.
