The water diversion and exhaust methods of single-stage centrifugal pumps mainly include the following:
1. Manual exhaust method

Open the water inlet and outlet at the same time: Before starting the pump, open the water inlet and outlet at the same time.
Let water flow in naturally: Let water flow naturally into the pump body and pipes to exhaust the air. This method is suitable for situations where there is less air inside the pump body.
3. Water filling method
Set a water injection port at the water inlet of the single-stage centrifugal pump to facilitate water injection, and remove the air in the pump by injecting enough water into the port. The specific steps are as follows:
Set the water injection port: Set a water injection port near the water inlet to facilitate water injection.
Inject enough water: Inject enough water into the pump through the water injection port to ensure that the air in the pump body is fully discharged.
Check the exhaust condition: During the water injection process, pay attention to the exhaust condition of the pump body to ensure that the air is completely discharged.
4. Pre-start method
For some single-stage centrifugal pumps, especially centrifugal pumps, the pre-start method can be used to remove the air in the pump. The specific steps are as follows:
Start the pump: First start the pump to reach a certain speed.
Quickly open the water inlet valve: After the pump is started, quickly open the water inlet valve to allow water to flow into the pump and expel the air.
Gradually open the water outlet valve: After the water pump works normally, gradually open the water outlet valve to adjust the water flow and pump pressure.
