Monitoring and protection device for magnetic pump
The monitoring and protection device of the magnetic pump is a series of equipment and systems designed to ensure the normal operation of the magnetic pump, improve safety, prevent failures and extend service life. These devices mainly include the following:
1. Temperature sensor
Function:
Real-time monitoring of the temperature of the magnetic pump during operation, including medium temperature, isolation sleeve temperature, etc.
When the temperature exceeds the preset safety range, an alarm or shutdown mechanism is triggered to prevent the magnetic pump from being damaged due to overheating.
Application example:
Use an integrated temperature transmitter to convert the temperature signal into a current signal and transmit it to the DCS control system for remote monitoring and control.
2. Vibration switch (vibration sensor)
Function:
Monitor the vibration of the magnetic pump during operation, including vibration amplitude and frequency.
When abnormal vibration is detected, an alarm or shutdown signal is issued to prevent the magnetic pump from being damaged due to mechanical failure.
Importance:
Vibration is one of the important indicators of the operating status of the magnetic pump. Abnormal vibration often indicates that there is a fault or problem inside the pump.
3. Power factor monitoring device
Function:
Monitor the power factor of the magnetic pump during operation, that is, the phase relationship between current and voltage.
Poor power factor can cause motor failures such as insufficient electric power, reduced speed, abnormal noise, and even motor burnout.
By monitoring the power factor, the working state of the magnetic pump can be discovered and adjusted in time to avoid failures.
4. Other common protection devices
Motor temperature switch: monitors the motor temperature to prevent the motor from overheating.
Motor phase sequence protection device: ensures that the motor runs in the correct phase sequence to prevent failures caused by incorrect phase sequence.
Motor current protection device: monitors the motor current to prevent damage to the motor due to excessive current.
Bearing status monitor: monitors the wear status of the bearing to prevent failures caused by bearing wear and failure.
Differential pressure switch: monitors changes in pump outlet pressure to prevent pump idling, severe cavitation, pump blockage, pump jam, etc.
Liquid leakage probe: when the isolation sleeve is broken or liquid enters the coupling box, the probe will alarm and prompt timely maintenance.
5. Comprehensive protection system
With the development of technology, the monitoring and protection devices of magnetic pumps are becoming more and more integrated and intelligent. Some advanced magnetic pump systems will integrate multiple monitoring and protection devices into an integrated protection system for monitoring and management through a unified interface.
These systems can also be connected to computer control systems to achieve functions such as remote monitoring, fault diagnosis and early warning.
