Precautions for installation and commissioning of magnetic centrifugal pumps
The installation and commissioning of magnetic centrifugal pumps is a complex and meticulous process. Special attention should be paid to the following aspects to ensure the normal operation and service life of the pump:
1. Preparation before installation
Check the pump and motor: Before installation, the magnetic pump and motor should be carefully checked to ensure that all parts are intact and there is no debris in the pump.
Foundation preparation: Make concrete foundation work according to the foundation size and bury the anchor bolts. The foundation should be able to absorb vibration and form a permanent rigid support capacity for the pump unit.
2. Installation process
Place the pump unit: Place the pump unit on the foundation, use wedge pads to adjust the horizontal position, and ensure that the pump unit is stable and does not shake.
Connecting pipes: The suction and discharge pipes of the magnetic centrifugal pump should be equipped with brackets, and the pump should not be used to support them. The diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes should be consistent with the diameter of the pump inlet and outlet, and ensure that the pipe interface is airtight and leak-proof.
Filter setting: In order to prevent debris from entering the pump, a filter can be set at the inlet, and the filter area should be three to four times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipe.
Motor inspection: Check whether the motor rotation direction is consistent with the direction mark of the magnetic centrifugal pump, and ensure that the motor fan blades rotate flexibly without jamming and abnormal sounds.
3. Debugging and running
Medium inspection: Ensure that the pumped medium is within the range allowed by the magnetic pump, and avoid extracting medium with particles and easy crystallization.
Preparation before starting: Before starting, the lubricating oil level of the cooling box should be checked. If the oil level is too low, it should be replenished in time. At the same time, according to the medium temperature, cooling measures may be required for the machine seal.
Startup and adjustment: After the motor is started, the discharge valve should be opened slowly, and then adjusted to the required opening after the pump works normally. Pay attention to the changes in the outlet pressure gauge to ensure stable pressure.
Exhaust and inspection: Before starting the pump, the exhaust should be fully exhausted to avoid the gas in the pump affecting the operation. During operation, pay attention to check the operation of the pump. If there is any abnormality, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
4. Safety and maintenance
Avoid idling: Magnetic pumps are strictly prohibited from idling to prevent no-load operation when starting after a power outage in the middle of work, which may damage the internal components of the pump.
Temperature control: The ambient temperature of the magnetic centrifugal pump should be lower than 40℃ during the water pressure process, and the motor temperature rise should not be higher than 75℃.
Regular maintenance: After the magnetic pump has been running for a period of time, it should be regularly inspected and maintained, such as disassembling the bearings and end face moving rings, replacing easily worn parts, etc.
5. Other precautions
Installation location: The pump should be installed as close to the liquid supply source as possible, and preferably below the liquid level of the liquid supply container to reduce the suction resistance.
Pipeline configuration: The inlet and outlet pipelines should have appropriate support to avoid the influence of stress changes on the pump casing. At the same time, straight pipes should be configured at the inlet and outlet, and a pressure gauge should be installed to monitor the working condition of the pump.
Protective measures: When the pump is not equipped with a protective device, pay attention to the changes in the conveying medium, especially the changes in the height and temperature in the tank, to prevent affecting the use of the pump.
