Principle of automatic water level control of sewage pump
The principle of automatic water level control of sewage pump is mainly based on sensor technology and automatic control system, which realizes the automatic sewage discharge process by monitoring water level and controlling the operation of pump. The following is a detailed description of this principle:
1. Core components
Water level sensor: The core of the water level control system is the water level sensor, which is responsible for real-time monitoring of water level changes. Commonly used water level sensors include float switches, pressure sensors and ultrasonic sensors.
2. Working principle
Float switch control:
Float switch: A mechanical sensor that detects water level changes through the buoyancy of a floating sphere.
Working principle: When the water level rises to the preset height, the float rises and triggers the switch, sending a signal to the control system. After receiving the signal, the control system will start the sewage pump to discharge sewage. When the water level drops to the set lower limit, the float drops and triggers the switch, causing the sewage pump to stop working.
Pressure sensor control:
Pressure sensor: The water level is determined by measuring the change in water pressure.
Working principle: When the pressure in the sewage pipe is lower than the set value, the pressure sensor will sense the signal and trigger the controller to start the sewage pump. As the water level rises and sewage is discharged, the pressure in the pipe gradually increases. When the pressure rises above the set value, the pressure sensor will sense the signal again and trigger the controller to stop the sewage pump.
Ultrasonic sensor control:
Ultrasonic sensor: Use the reflection time of ultrasound to measure the height of the water level.
Working principle: The ultrasonic sensor emits ultrasound to the water surface and receives the signal reflected back. By calculating the time of the ultrasound round trip, the height of the water level can be accurately measured. When the water level reaches the preset water level, the sensor will send a signal to the control system, and the control system will control the start and stop of the sewage pump according to the signal.
3. Automatic control system
Control system: Receives signals from the water level sensor and controls the operation of the sewage pump according to the preset water level range.
Working principle: When the water level is lower than the set minimum water level, the control system will keep the pump in the off state. Once the water level reaches the minimum water level or higher, the control system will start the pump and keep it running until the water level reaches the preset maximum water level. Once the water level reaches the maximum water level, the control system will stop the pump. By constantly monitoring the water level and regulating the operation of the pump, the water level control system ensures that wastewater is discharged within a safe range and avoids excessive operation or stoppage of the pump.
