Routine maintenance strategies for vertical centrifugal pumps
Vertical centrifugal pumps are commonly used fluid transport equipment in industrial production. The stability and reliability of their performance are of great significance to the entire production process. Therefore, doing a good job in daily maintenance of vertical centrifugal pumps is the key to ensuring their normal operation and extending their service life.
1. Daily inspection
Vertical centrifugal pumps should be inspected regularly to check whether there are abnormal sounds, vibrations or overheating in the pump body, motor, bearings and other components. At the same time, it is also necessary to check whether the inlet and outlet pipes are smooth and whether there are leaks.
2. Lubrication and cleaning
Bearings and other components of vertical centrifugal pumps require lubricating oil to be added or replaced regularly to ensure good lubrication performance. In addition, the pump body and accessories need to be cleaned regularly to prevent dust, oil and other impurities from affecting the performance of the pump.
3. Adjustment and tightening
The fasteners of the pump body, such as bolts, nuts, etc., should be inspected and adjusted regularly to ensure that the tightening degree meets the requirements. At the same time, the transmission components of the pump need to be adjusted to ensure smooth and accurate transmission.
4. Spare parts management
Establish a complete spare parts management system. For wearing parts and key components, sufficient spare parts should be prepared in advance so that they can be replaced in time when equipment fails and shorten maintenance time.
