The sealing of the magnetic pump is one of its important performance characteristics, which is mainly manifested in the following aspects:

1. No dynamic seal, full static seal design

The magnetic pump does not use dynamic seals, but is a leak-proof conveying equipment without seals. It mainly relies on static seals, such as gaskets and sealing rings (widely used as O-rings), to achieve the sealing of the pump body. This design fundamentally eliminates the leakage problem caused by wear or failure of dynamic seals.

2. Magnetic transmission, contactless transmission of power

The magnetic pump uses the magnetic transmission pump cavity to achieve contactless transmission of power. When the motor drives the outer magnetic steel assembly to rotate, through the action of the magnetic field, the magnetic lines of force pass through the isolation sleeve to drive the inner magnetic steel assembly and the impeller to rotate synchronously. Since the medium is enclosed in the stationary isolation sleeve, the risk of leakage caused by mechanical transmission is completely avoided.

3. The important role of the isolation sleeve

The isolation sleeve is a very critical component in the magnetic pump. It is located between the inner magnetic cylinder and the outer magnetic cylinder, forming a closed cavity with the pump body. The thickness of the isolation sleeve is usually more than 3 times that of the shielded pump, which greatly enhances the sealing and reliability of the magnetic pump. Due to the combination of the isolation sleeve and the pump body, the inner and outer magnetic cylinders, the magnetic pump does not require a dynamic sealing component and achieves true zero leakage.

5. Other sealing measures

In addition to the above main sealing measures, the magnetic pump also adopts a series of other measures to enhance its sealing. For example, the magnetic coupling of the pump is combined with the pump body as one, with a compact structure and easy maintenance; the bearing of the pump is lubricated and cooled by the conveyed medium, which not only ensures the normal operation of the bearing but also avoids external leakage; the magnetic coupling of the pump can also play an overload protection role for the transmission motor.
