Horizontal centrifugal pumps are relatively easy to install and repair. For example, for some types of water pumps, the impeller can be repaired by simply removing the inlet pipe.

The impeller of the vertical centrifugal pump is directly installed on the extended shaft of the motor. It has short axial size and compact structure. It has a simple structure, easy maintenance, vibration-free fixed installation, good sealing, easy maintenance and low price. However, it should be noted that since the main shaft of the horizontal centrifugal pump is horizontal and is placed horizontally during installation, it may occupy more space and is prone to moisture and flooding, affecting safe operation.
